DisfunctionaaL 0 Posted January 13, 2014 So i had the mod and i loved the game, but i was sincerely aggrivated by my frame rates. I always felt like I could never get a clear shot and other people had the advantage over me. I pulled about 12-15fps at all times and in the cities i pulled about 1(yes ONE not eleven) - 10fps. I was wondering if it is worth buying the SA if i was getting such bad frame rates on the mod and if the SA has improved frame rates?
TIC 1050 Posted January 13, 2014 Mostly depends on your system specs. It's been reported that DayZ retail had far more performance gains than the mod for most.
Flagella 69 Posted January 13, 2014 If you put your graphic settings right even with a shot PC you can get 25+ frames in a major city (this doesn't mean having it full low) but if you're PC is pretty shit then I wouldn't, I only play games 50+ Fps soo I wouldn't buy it :)
DisfunctionaaL 0 Posted January 13, 2014 oh and i forgot to mention that i had my graphics medium-low for the most part no shadows

Mos1ey 6301 Posted January 13, 2014 Post your system specs here...http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154395-can-i-run-dayz-retail-post-here/ Honestly though, if you struggled with the mod I don't think DayZ retail will perform much better for you.
