Press Vest Spawn

I'm looking for the Press vest because it looks like it has some nifty Kevlar plates in it. Any idea where it spawns?

Found one in a train station. I heard that's the only place where it spawns, but I can't assure you anything.

Press Vest and Stab Vest both only spawn in train stations currently. Press Vest has 6 storage spaces, 2 less than military vests, Stab Vest has none.

I found mine in that ship at NE coast, it does look like it could be somekind of kevlar. But I don't think it stops riflebullets any more than military vests.

At least in one of devs videos it shows at it stops one rifle bullet fully and one partly. Has anyone tested this on militaryvest?

I tested, it stops bullets apart from magnum and mosin with m4 it stops 1 and a half ballets with fnx45 it stops 2

Anti stab vests stops kitchen knife damage and zombie damage to the torso.

No, the 8 slot vests do not stop bullets. The press vest spawns in enterable train stations and at the shipwreck.

 

Not trying to be the forum police or anything, but I've seen questions about the press vest asked and answered a lot. Please try searching the forums before posting a new thread... it's looking pretty cluttered in here.

The stab vest prevents melee damage until ruined like anything. Each zombie hit for example will lower its condition by 1 level (pristine->worn). It becomes useless fast if you aren't careful. I haven't tested the press vest yet but I'm sure it works similarly as stated above (taking less hits, in most cases 1)

i found a press vest in a fire station once, although someone may have dropped it for some odd reason

I've heard of it spawning at the big ship wreck on the NE coast just up from Berenzino. I have never found it there but my roommate did once. It's cool for the first few minutes but once you realize it makes you stick out it isn't as cool. lol

Go to Riffy. NE Coast past Berenizo. Big old ship reck. Go to the Cabin rooms. Only 2 floors you can check. I found both the Press vest and a Stab vest in the same room.

 

When I logged out and came back a couple hours later there was another Press vest. Snagged it for a friend and left never to return.

 

 

 

 

Can't confirm if the Press vest does stop bullets personaly but I'd believe it does. I know the kevlar helmet stops at least one m4 round from personal experience. I got KO'd for about 30sec woke up and had a fountain coming out of the top of my head (roof sniper).
