Do Motorcycle/kevlar helmets give any protection or are their just for show?

The motor helmet makes it harder for people to knock you out, and the Kevlar helmet stops a bullet from killing you if it is not ruined.

As kingrex said: the balistic helmet stops a bullet from killing you. I am not sure how the quality affects it though. Ruined means worthless and pristine saves you, I have not tested everything in between.

A bullet that is stopped by a helmet has the chance to knock you out (make you unconcious). I am not sure if different bullets have a different effect here. Anyway, after one hit the helmet is most likely ruined and worthless.
