micro7hd 1 Posted January 12, 2014 Vehicle suggestion: Longboard Hello,My suggestion for the devlopers is to add new vehicles in game, properly longboards. Basicly longboards are bigger skateboards which can be used to cruise, what would be amazing to see in DayZ because it would be so much easier to the players to travel between cities, villages and all the diferent places without the need to walk "thousands" of miles. It can get very frustrating to walk a lot of miles to get to a place, or to meet a friend, when you have a big street that you could use a longboard to travell without getting tired and so thristy by walking. With a longboard you just had to push with your feet once in a whle. It would be also wonderfull and so cool to run away from zombies with your longboard or even just hit them with your board. A good idea to carry your longboard when you are walking is holding it with your hand on your arm or with a longboard backpack when you can attach your board and carry other stuff inside the backpack.I think that idea would help the game to become more original and cool and not so borring to make big walks. And maybe then you would realize how ridiculous your suggestion is - sure, longoard looks like cool and hip thing to have with you to show everyone around how cool and hip you are. But something with tiny wheels that can go only downhill isn't really good way to get around. Not even mentioning how terrible the roads (in countries like Chernarus is supposed to be) are at this moment, now combine that with a zombie apocalypse... If a band sells more than 1000 albums, hipsters turn their back on them and say things like "I liked them before they went all pop. You should have heard their first 2 albums. That's when they were really good." But yeah, unless they change the location to Oregon's coast, you probably wouldn't find a single longboard anywhere. It's a short step to street luging or hang gliding being suggested. I actually think I saw hanggliding as a suggestion. Enjoy a brief ride off the highest tower of Devil's Castle as you can soar to a tree covered landing zone...cccccrrrrrrunch.
