Quick Question About Day Z Commander and the Mods

There are like 20-30+ mods available to download, but only a few with any good number of servers to play on?  Should I download all available mods or just the higher server count mods?

Download whichever ones you want to play.  They're all separate mods that aren't reliant on each other.

Take a look at their respective websites or reviews to see if you like them. Some of them I have and like, some are not being developed anymore, some are terrible IMO. Get the ones you want but make sure the servers that are available have decent ping and are trustworthy. Contact the community or server owner/admin to inquire about updates, restarts and changes to the default mod. TBCH I think the default DayZ mod is the best as there are more guides and content related items out there for you to look at for information. As well it is the most optimized of the mods and the best looked after.

I would go with

 

Epoch

Overwatch

Namalsk

 

and thats about it, maybe panthera, the ones I've listed allow a full experience f the major mods with the largest communities :)

I have went with Epoch, Origins, Overwatch and Panthera. Have joined an Epoch server before, seems fun. Also been in a Panthera server (small community from what I noticed), but I had to walk forever Eastward over hills until I found a road and then a town. Small community because it takes forever to find a town I figure which makes dying so much more punishing.
