Caspion 5 Posted January 12, 2014 Okay so, personally I think the zombies have a bit too much health or take too much to kill. You get hit once off one and you're bleeding to death, they must have some long ass nails or a good arm for a powerful slap. Anyway, I think the zombies should have reduced health, purely due to the fact that they take about 15 hits to kill (melee). I think it's too much, you beat the bitch with a wrench and then it can hit you a couple times and your playing in black and white for the rest of your DayZ life. It does make sense though, that melee weapons are different from each other. Caspion 5 Posted January 12, 2014 Ahh, See I'm new (around 10 hours play time) And I've never come across a fire axe, Always crow bars and hammers. As it stands currently, you can kill a zombie with a single body shot...and they're undead. Players are actually harder to kill than zombies. I've been hit with glancing blows by zombies and not been hurt. They actually time their attacks at regular intervals. If you pay attention you can attack before their attack, dodge run from their lunge, attack them again...repeat as necessary. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Frytek 130 Posted January 12, 2014 I disagree. You hit the head and run around them and they are done in seconds without even hitting you. Its not even hard to kill them with your bare hands if you get it right. Zombies are just fine as they are now. A threat you have to know how to deal with properly. The zombies are placeholder, there will eventually be more of them, and they'll be harder to kill. At the moment they are WAY too easy to drop with any axe, and not that hard to get with your bare hands either. At the moment they are WAY too easy to drop with any axe, and not that hard to get with your bare hands either.
