Had my first encounter with another player

Just had my first encounter with another player in game I say it went fairly well. He walked up calm and I said hi, but then he shot me in the face. He didn't prolong it at all which I was kind of dissapointed about, or kill me in a fancy way but at least I wasn't sniped. :blush: :rolleyes:

 

Must have wanted my beanz,pipe wrench, and my gun I don't remember what it was called looked really old and I think it was the one you all say is really loud.

I have the oposite problem, i went into a town full of new people spawing, i had around 200 bullets plenty of food, and water, so i decided to try help people, i aproached them and started to say Hi, amazingly 1 in every 3 guys i saw tryed to punch me to death even with 0 gear and even after i stated i was friendly and asked if they needed anything

I'd be interested to know how you'll behave as you play more. Some people get bitter and shoot anyone that passes by.

 

Others become heroes and try to help anyone they can so that no one has to be shot in the face.

 

And then there are the in-betweeners. I like to think there is where I stand. :P The people who watch my Twitch stream would agree, I think, but I also enjoy having a gunfight.

Well I don't think I will become the bitter type, most likely an in betweener

Nothing worse capped 2 guys today.. one came at me gunning. the other wouldnt lower his gun... he was trying to target me so i said lower it im friendly...

he continued aiming as i sidestepped... took too long so i popped him and took his mosin.

 

im friendly if your friendly but with a gun in you face im not gona tread lightly... i scavenged my gear genuinely so i aint losing it quick either

I had a similar experience, fresh spawn, met a guy on the coast who seemed pretty kitted out. He helped me along to find a water pump, offered for me to go play with him and his mate.

 

All was well until he asked where i'm from, I told him, he stopped, turned, shot me in the face, and kept on running :(

Don't forget, newspawns might be bandits that have just been popped. This is one reason why I will never give a newspawn a weapon and ammunition, because there's a chance they will shoot me in the head as soon as I walk away. I'm all for helping bambis but fuck getting killed for it.

I never give newspawns anything other then a melee weapon and maybe a can opener and a full map chernarus and medically help them (saline Blood etc). other then that its too risky and i dont neccesiarilly do much more then that then point them out in the right direction.
