Any bandits that don't kill on sight?

Recommended Posts

I understand but in real life you wouldn't attack an armed player in the open. This player didn't care about playing this game as a zombie survival game, he just wanted a gun, to me this just ruins the game. There is simply too much pvp, and I don't think devs meant for this. If they did, they would have made armaIV.

People do crazy shit. Just do some research on real life disasters like hurricane Katrina, or the L.A. riots. People killed, raped and did all kinds of crazy things for no reason at all. You just got to be careful and always use that safety first mentality.

i act pretty much same way in game as i do in irl except in game im in different world, but i dont change into a nasty character mode because im in the dayz world, dayz lets you be yourself, it lets you be someone else too but im not interested in that at all.

most recent "bandit" story i have from 2 days ago, while its not a bandit story, i know im not a bandit, just a player,

it was getting dark and i was at niznoye, i had less than 10 rounds for sks, 6 in a magnum, and i had been tryign to find soem sks rounds.

i waited prone on the hill southside, cause i was having a smoke, a view over the town, a little way back, soon enough see a guy move from teh coast road area south, to the well, i move down and approached him from behind as he drank, without being nasty asked him not to turn around, asked him to let me check his clothes, he didnt have any sks rounds, i gave him some milk power and let him drink up, he was respectful and thankful, i was respectful as much as i could be in that situ, i checked him exit area,  this is a normal event in dayz to me.

See a guy walking around

Confirm he's not one of us

He doesn't have a gun out

"It's not us! Leg shot!"

All seven people in our group shoots the guy's legs and he dies.

For those concerned with the outcome of the prisoner - he had actually logged out. We were going to let him go.

This was back when glitching inside of the walls was incredibly common.

As we had chosen NEAF as our defend location, you kinda have to fight fire with fire. It's the only way we were able to still enjoy the game without being forced out.

They have since patched being able to glitch into these rooms (as far as I'm aware) so no need to do this.

Looking through wall glitch is still there but I hope it gets removed as well as it does make the game unfair. I would of expected it to be fixed at the same time as getting into these glass rooms.

Man, most of the time people refuse to listen.

Even while playing a hero, you still have to hold people up. And 90% of the time people won't listen.

I swear, just yesterday we had a guy at gunpoint with 3 AKMs pointed at his face. When requested to get on his knees, he replied in direct chat with text:

"I mean you no harm"

I expect a lot of players to resist. The ones that actually play the game like real life are the ones I give my beans to. I've have had a lot of cool and funny experiences with other players.
