'Waiting for host' bug for several days now

Hello,

I'm having the infamous 'waiting for host' issue where no matter what server I try to join, the screen is stuck at a loading picture that says 'waiting for host' infinitely. I've sent my RPT files and everything, but it's been like this for several days now. I don't understand what that email was supposed to do. Not sure what I'm supposed to do, twiddle my thumbs?

Yes, I realize this thread exists. However, I have done as instructed, and posted twice in it, without any activity or reaction whether in email or in that thread, so it seems to me that the thread is being ignored and possibly my email has ended up in a spam filter or something.
