How many patches can we expect in a week?

Recommended Posts

In the first week of release we got like 3 or even 4 patches....thats amazing...really!

I just wonder if the devs here will continue this trend and bring out like 3 or 4 patches per week. No?

I love the passion and hard work behind this project and watching closely how every piece of the puzzle slowly gets fit together in order to build a great game.

This is alpha and its early access therefore they cant release patches like that. They have to test if the patch is ok to be released - otherwise you would whine and cry and ask for money back if patches would start breaking the game. And they should.

I hate the idea that we have an experimental build, not a build that everyone else uses. but well fuck me - people are little whining princesses.

well it's an early alpha and if a patch breaks the game it would be pointless to whine and cry about getting my money back since i already know that i purchased an unfinished and probably unstable game.

If its one a bit more substantial patch per week + some little fixes if needed, then I'm happy pumpkin.

But then again, if they post patch notes, with a lot of stuff, then ofc people should be content it will take more then single week to release. I think it's important to give us proper info though, of what's cooking.

Back on the topic - i think patches will roll out as they rollout. I think devs can't give us schedule for patches. I think they are busy now hiring more people to work on the Dayz:SA

It would be interesting to know if they are working on bigger updates aswell and not just the daily usual patch.
