Having multiple characters via multiple copies of the game

Would it lead to a ban if you bought a second copy of the game on a different Steam account in order to have two characters?

 

I know this was done in the mod, but I don't know what the official word is on alts.

Only the most hardcore of 'eazy mode' exploiters or those who want a survivor character and a bandit character will do this. IMO it's fine as they have legally bought a copy and I can't see why it would even be legal to ban someone for using a legitimately purchased second copy.

Just like the one post where that one dude bought 3 accounts and was all proud of himself.

I think it should be allowed. I just don't see a reason why one should have more than one account.

To store stuff, sure, but is that fun then? Doubt so.
