Player model rendering distance issue

I tried the search feature and found nothing relevant to this topic.

 

I don't think this is a "bug", but probably an issue with my rendering settings.

 

From what I understand, player models are supposed to be given precedence over loot models. 

 

Basically any player out past 400m disappears and I can only see the loot that they are wearing on their character. So in any long range engagement, I will see a floating backpack and a floating helmet maybe. 

 

Anyone know of a solution?

Same, a player has to be within like 100 Meters within me for me to be able to see them, unless I zoom in.
