Merc13 11 Posted January 8, 2014 I would use Dayz Commander or Six-personally I use Dayz commander. I had the same problem with joining servers after I bought the game and they were all solved by using a launcher. Good Luck. Also Dayz commander helps you see when the mods need updating. matt8ball 0 Posted January 8, 2014 You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip etc.'upon joining any DayZ server.You installed the mod or the shortcut incorrectly. Make sure you add "-mod=@dayz" without quotes in the launch options and DayZ mod files are installed in the proper folder. By default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons" this looks like it will solev one of my problems but i dont really understad where im putting the -mod=@dayz ??? ~ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BTW, there is a definite procedure to installing Dayz, so looking on You-tube for a tutorial is a good idea. After the initial pain you will be effortlessly playing Dayz and the various mods, which can be downloaded from Commander. Again, good luck. Edit. I would recommend Namalsk(tough environment though), Taviana and if you're into building things and trading, Epoch. Vanilla is good, but if your impatient like me, it is too much hunting for things and not enough reward. Anyway, good luck out there Dude. Edit-I forgot to mention Overwatch, which is my second favourite mod, but it is heavy PVP, so I would avoid it until you get comfy with things.
