I've been playing the game for about a week now. I've found a few sections of map on my journeys 3 at most. Is there a way to combine each section to make a big map or do you have to individually look at each piece of map?

I've tried to combine maps, with tape, rope and all-sorts, i cannot figure out how. Does anyone know?

yep, you can combine adjacent map pieces (ie: NW and NE) by dragging a map piece on another one in your inventory

 

so with:

- NW + NE = North Map

- SW + SE = South Map

- South + North = Complete map (and only 1 slot in inventory)

Same way East + West is Complete Map

I noticed that you can not zoom in as far on a complete map as on pieces though.
