The chance of friendlies are higher up North. Do you agree?

Funny. I never ran into this situation of talking to people in game. I'm usually clutzing around some where remote and get popped without even knowing where it came from. I often go to the military base up north and its as hot as the southern one. When you're looting the jail and come across another player, there's zero time for conversation, they are usually whipping out an axe as I'm standing there with a helmet in my hands. Holy **$, I've been through some extremely rough times looting. So I havent ever had the time to talk to people in this game- neither side wants to talk.

Either that, or its a guy who speaks English-JarJar Binks language chasing me around wanting to fight. Crazy Dayz people. lol

Avoid the buildings and stick to the tents. It's harder to loot tents so people generally go to the buildings. In my opinion, scouting tents for a good 2minutes is more than enough. Either that or stick to places like Green Mountain and militaray bases. I do agree though, it's always KoS at miltary spawns.

Dunno, got shot in the face at Berezino last night....hard to say :)

Yeah and I got some dude hitting me with his axe whilst I was eating tuna outside of Stary so I don't think it matters where you are. The fact is I have not met a single friendly players for a couple of weeks now.

I wasted the guy - but I'm going to have to hold up in some sleepy town with a well as he injured me pretty badly.

I've not spoken to anyone since the Alpha came out either. We either just ignore each other - usually noob on noob. Any other time it's just violence.

In fact I'm not even sure how to communicate without Teamspeak. What is it backslash and type? Who is going to type in this current climate?

This is true when they're both fresh spawns. I saw a guy in Berezino who actually responded to me and came outside when I told him I was out there (I had a fire extinguisher and he had nothing). We then did silly character animation shit and both went different ways, looting different parts of town. I even had handcuffs and first thought it would be hilarious if I handcuffed him but I decided not to.

Every time i try being friendly in the north, they disconnect on me. Had to kill off a dude who logged out earlier and came back to the same server after trying to communicate.

People don't go to the north (northwest now really) looking for pvp, but the ones that make it up there have too much to lose to risk shooting second.

I don't think so. Usually whoever comes north is pretty well equipped and is less likely to try a friendly approach because of the fear of losing everything.
