27 others 102 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) In my opinion, there is NOTHING wrong with the mouse controls. I made a thread that explains the problem to people like you: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/163485-why-mouse-acceleration-in-first-person-desperately-needs-fixing-2-long-post/ Edited January 14, 2014 by 27 others
Named Geezer 6 Posted January 14, 2014 I agree with the Op, the mouse controls are clunky at best, especially noticeable in buildings trying to navigate doorways.
agentneo 337 Posted January 14, 2014 I agree with OP I agree its a priority please to try to remove the acceleration or sticky feeling. I have v sync off and frames limited by my graphics card, the mark c mouse fix and my games feel smooth except Day Z standalone/ Day Z mod. Arma 3 is really smooth. I hope they can somehow update Standalone with the Arma 3 code for aiming and mouse control.

djporternz 644 Posted January 14, 2014 Here's something else you can try, make circles with your mouse in the game, look at your crosshair, is it making circles? No, it's making ovals. That's a big indicator that something isn't right.Yep, you're dead right. It does indicate something not quite right.I'm getting perfect circles here. You need to learn how to set up your mouse properly.
