How Do You Pick Up Backpacks (1.7.1.5)

So.....I've found a couple of bigger packs, but I am no longer able to pick them up as I was able to do in previous versions. I used to be able to use the middle mouse button to get a "pick up **** pack" option, but this seems to no longer be working. Is this a bug or is there now another mechanic used for this?

If there's stuff under them you have to pick it up first.

And put all your current backpack contents into the one on the ground, then like Castle said, once you clear things around it, you should have the option to "Take Backpack".

That's what I was trying to do, not 10 minutes ago, but my inv was full so I had to ditch things around and come back.

During the process I broke my stupid leg just by getting stuck in a doorstep.

I have had this issue and like the others said, picking up the stuff under the bag allows you to take the pack. I assume this is not working as intended. But a minor issue that can easily be dealt with at the moment.

I havent had this issue. Picked up a Czech pack last night. I did install the latest beta though so not sure if that might be it.
