Change the ACOG reticule

Recommended Posts

TA31RCO-M4CP_reticle_popup.jpg

This is the correct reticule for the Acogs in game. Not sure why the guys from Arma 2 did it the other way. It should be the TA31RCO-M4CP for the M4 and -A4CP for the M16.

Meh, it's fine already. I don't see a reason to change it.

The current reticule is close to useless at night, unless you up your  gamma and brightness. Actual acog sights are self illuminated(reticule is made from a radioactive tritium isotope i think?), dont require batteries and work more or less like the red dots in the game.

This in itself would be nice

Huh? My issued ACOG is the 4x32 TAO1 and that's on an M4. Also unlike most of the shit Dean Hall got wrong with weapons, the reticule for the ACOG in game is correct.

I'm not sure if you've thought of this and maybe this is not a thing but, if I'm not mistaken the reticule pictured may be subject to copyright by trijicon, inc.  which would require licensing by bohemia to be in the game.

Edit: after a quick look on trijicons website, they offer ACOGs in at least 8 different types of reticule and magnification flavors, so there is no one "correct" reticule for an ACOG scope.
