What are these new hive implementations?

Never heard of these before. Please explain?

Regular: Crosshairs, Third Person

 

Hardcore: Nothing of that jazz and my preferred way to play. :)

 

They have been talking about Private Hive support for a while and one way they want to do it is to have sub-hives of the public hive, so they can still control the private hives.

 

A private hive is not connected to the Public hive and you will have a different character only on that specific server.

 

It has its pros and cons. :)
