Sneaking shoes

Would like to see different shoes have different levels of footstep volume.Sound is a big indication of a persons whereabouts, especially inside, and small soft shoes would dampen the sound. Like a plimsoll. 

 

Or even the ability to take your shoes off to tread quieter. No shoes or light, thin shoes would wear out quicker and possibly lead to you getting sick quicker as it would be easier to pick up a disease.

Taking off shoes was suggested not a long time ago.

 

Different noise levels has been suggested many times before.

And the amount of stuff you carry in your rucksack and so on, must be considered, too.

 

AND what I really would love to see is how much stuff is in ones rucksack - flat to fat?

I could walk silent in boots its my rucksack filled w/ sardines and canteens and various other survival gear that is going to make noise not my shoes.

I'm pretty sure Rocket has said that he is wanting to do this, just obviously all the sounds at the moment are more place holder until things become more permanent and not constantly getting re-worked. Like the idea though, and the thought of having weight of your gear affect your noise levels is very cool as well.

But you could walk faster without making noise in bare feat or some lighter shoes.
