Concerned with BattlEye

Recommended Posts

Before I begin, I am NOT against anti-cheat, I have never encountered them because I didn't play the mod, but I have heard of them and they made me mad in CoD. My primary concern is the game is still in Alpha. This seems obvious, but I cannot tell you how many times i have ran through walls, duplicated gear, teleported places, one hit killed stuff I shouldn't have, gone back in time, etc. I'm not complaining, but can anyone confirm that this anti-cheat will only ban people who are actually hacking and not experiencing Alpha? I'm worried that if I log on and I run through too many walls because of Alpha or something I'm going to get banned, and I'm not a hacker.

PS: I read BE's site but other than it telling me it check my files for hacks and stuff like that in super techy wording, I didn't understand how it works. I am not complaining, I'm just asking.

Just don't cheat. Don't install any software thats not from steam in this case.

BE is not looking for lag or clipping its checking memory/files in the data stream ive been playing arma with battle eye since the day of its release, arma2 dayz etc, never had an issue.

Btw battle eye wasnt in CoD. That was PunkBuster, difference.

Don't cheat, and you wont get banned. Don't use scripts, or hacks, and boom, you're fine.

BE just checks for suspicious coding in your files and the execution of illegal scripts, nothing else.
