Respawn?

I know this option is disabled to prevent people from forming groups at spawn, but in this early alpha it is just annoying. I am currently stuck in the map and the only way to respawn is to slowly die of thirst.

Why don't you play at your spawn. It doesn't take much effort in my opinion.

I can come kill your guy if you're close. Send me a message with your location and if its close to Berezino I will come fix your 'problem' for you. That is if some part of you is sticking out. Let me know, I'll be on for a little while longer and will be on tomorrow. You could also just stay logged in while you go to work or school and hope you starve to death or die of dehydration.

 

Crazyandlazy definitely got the lazy part right. Read his whole post. He is stuck and can't move somewhere on the map...

I don't understand. I am glitched under a house and I can't escape. Since I am not allowed to respawn I have to leave DayZ running in the background until I die of thirst or hunger.

Sometimes, if people are trapped under a house, getting to a tight spot and trying to vault can break your legs and/or kill you. Do you have a gun? You could also try shooting it off and hoping a zombie comes and finishes the job.

run against the invisible walls while pressing V (jump), should get u out quick - u might have to try different spots

Try vaulting out or if you can low crawl, crouch walk your way outside the house.  Try to get as far outside the house geometry as you can then exit and relogin.  If you do it right, the server should correct your position when it sets you back in the world.  This usually works but it takes a little finagling.

you said in the middle of "map". 

 

Anyways, if you are stuck in a house try voice. Maybe someone will hear you and lead a zombie in. That's how I got help.
