More stuff you have = Slower?

Recommended Posts

I have agroup of five people, we just walk around and help other, but while we walk around one of the members are slower. He has a lot more ammo than us, and we were wondering. Does the more stuff you have in the backpack = the slower you are?

It would make sense that they took weight features from ArmA 3 (more weight = less stamina, which they didn't because you can sprint forever >.>), but I've never read anything about gear slowing your character down

A3 lets you sprint forever? or DayZ? I'm confused

EDIT: from my experience i've got 100 to 250 meters before my sprint is "empty"

Lets not release the secrets of DayZ

Like How to sprint 20% faster.

and no it has nothing to do with the turbo button. (Im serious the turbo button only makes you about 10% faster)

Movement in general is totally screwed up in dayz, fact that its so easy to strafe seems broken to me. People dont strafe in real life like in dayz.

Might have something to do with the weapon your friend is carrying. Try having him or her raise and lower it or putting it away.
