Is anyone else losing connection and then rejoining as a new spawn?

I am pretty sure that a descent amount of people (including me) has experienced such ...alpha-like accident. No worries.

 

P.S. sometimes joining in an official (like those start with US, GB, better be the country you are in) server recovers your wiped character, I did get mine back once, and I would not tell you.

First time playing today in 4 days. Started the game and saw the picture of my character on startup. When I joined a server I was a fresh spawn. I quit and joined a different server a few minutes later after chatting with a friend and then I was back on my original character with full gear and miles away from my fresh spawn self.
