Might as well just buy BF4 now and keep DayZ if you're just going to buy it again when it's finished, at that time you're just going to lose more money.

There was a very clearly written description on the product page that stated the following: (excerpt)

 

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND BE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME MALFUNCTIONING.

 

That said, if you have a problem with service interruptions, constant crashing (which isn't actually a problem with DayZ right now), bugs, glitches, problems running the game due to PC performance, having DLC constantly shoved in your face (not a DayZ issue), hackers, hackers and more hackers, etc. then you may want to do a little research on Battlefield 4's current problems.
