how to check FPS

I can't remember for the life of me, is there a command to show FPS in game or do I need a 3rd party program?  I could of swore I was able to get FPS to show in the dayz mod, I just can't figure it out for SA.

Some servers showed the FPS in the debug monitor in the mod. Not sure about the SA actually. Some clever person will probably be able to tell you.

You could try counting the frames manually as well!

I like to use RTSS, combined with HWinfo it is an excellent tool for fps, performance and temperature monitoring.
