Freezing during game

Recommended Posts

I sincerely apologise if this was posted before (it most likely was), but i've been meaning to ask for information on a specific problem that I keep encountering frequently - (random) freezing of my character, disabling any other option than to close the game with Task Manager and restart it.

So I noticed that when I travel around the map, especially in open fields, and by the beach, rarely so in the cities, using fists-up sprint, the game freezes many times, rendering my character unable to do anything, transferring him to a place where I was 2-5 minutes ago. My usual action is to just restart the game using Task Manager.

Obviously it's very annoying, and obviously the game is in Alpha version, but i was wondering, if anyone found effecient ways to negate this effect as much as possible.

I'm running Intel i5-2500k, 3.30ghz, 8gb of RAM, WIN7 (64bit), HD Radeon 6870 with updated drivers, and my graphic configuration in game is optimised, using the tips of multiple videos and articles on disabling certain video features that optimise FPS - disabled VSync, disabled clouds and shadows, low quality textures, auto video memory, texture filtering disabled, and to make it short, in the "Rendering" settings, most features are disabled.

I believe that mentioning, that I usually play on 24/7 Daylight servers, is also prudent information.

Any answers, thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I would like to add that in the past (i've been playing this game for a week), there was some lagging around - my character would "hop" around a small area, or a small distance, but I thought those were just random lag spikes, since I've always gotten the control back in a few seconds. This, however, is different. I lose control, and the distance on where the game warps me is far greater, plus due to losing control, ability to do anything, I am forced to restart the game completely.
