BattlEye Initialization Failed

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section but I wasn't sure where I should post this.

 

I have been able to play dayz perfectly fine for the past few weeks, until this morning, I can't join any server because of the message "battleye initialization failed". 

I'm not a hacker and never have been a hacker. I have not adjusted any of the game files and it just happened randomly today.

 

I was able to play on a server one time today until I tried joining another server, the game gave me the following error, "battleye initialization failed", and since then, I am unable to play the game.

 

I have yet to do a lot of troubleshooting but I'm hoping someone knows a quick fix to save me some time.

 

 

Does anyone know how to fix the "battleye initialization failed" message? It won't let me join any server and I'm only able to access the menu.
