you just respawned after slowly starving to death somewhere in the middle of the map that nobody goes to.
all the zombies in that time were bolata zombies, ya know... not easy to get past like electro zombies.

you run in a circle around it, seeing if any good loot, but not gonna give the snipers a easy kill.

you hear a gun shot....

you don't go towards the gun shot sound, because you don't know where it came from. [could of been an unarmed playing punching walls, combat logging players]

you get chased by a zombie in a factory [thingy where people park their cars]  [used to] > . >

 

you see a guy with a m4,walk forward in a different direction while aiming..straight, he doesn't see you but you see him.

Had a similar situation yesterday evening on the nwaf... had a revolver with six rounds and saw a full equipped player coming to my building but he didnt saw me...
i shot him instandly, never hesitate on the airfield!

Shoot him if i have ammo, then dodge alot. My ping is bad enough for me to shoot him, him to hear the shot, turn around and light me up, then die if i have good aim.

 

If no ammo, then run and hide.

what do you do?

 

Assuming the pistol has any bullets in it, and assuming that I have a good shot at Mr M4, I would immediately shoot him until he falls over dead or I run out of bullets. The important thing is to kill him before he has a chance to log out.

 

Then I'd rush over to the corpse, grab as much of his equipment as possible, run about ten feet away - so that I'm not next to a wall or a piece of furniture - and then log out.

 

I'd wait a couple of minutes and then log in to a different server. And then get the hell out of dodge. Run in one direction for ten minutes or so. Then stop and check the condition of the gear, eat and drink etc. Not before.

 

I'd be alive, with a pile of gear. Kiss my face.
