Yup.

 

There was an DDOS attack on Dayz, and your character wipe could be connection problem between you and the hive. Try another server or wait until the attack has been cleared up.

I once joined the server, and I spawned on the coast as a bambi, I almost got a heart attack but i switched servers and everything went back to normal, idk why because both servers were offivial hives

that heart attack, when you used the solitude on the server AFTER the wipe to loot the shit out of elektro, and when you login the next evening to bask in your glory and enjoy the loot, you are suddenly on your old char again and confused because totally different location? :D
