Loot Spawning?

Hi all,

 

Currently I play on the Epoch mod, and I have a question concerning the way that loot spawns.

 

Does loot spawn if I drive into an area with a vehicle? I've driven into towns before and looked through the windows of a market and seen no items spawned, however when I enter the area on foot, there are items spawned. Is it a matter of the time taken to walk to the market that spawns the items?

 

Any light shed on this topic would be much apprectiated.

You have to be on foot for loot to spawn. Otherwise it would wreak havoc on servers spawning loot just because you drove through a town. There would be loot spawning and despawning all over the place for no reason.
