(Also nobody will see it) I've racked up 50 hours of gameplay on the standalone so far and have not yet seen a single residential gun.As far as I know there's a couple shotguns, Mosin Nagant, SKS, and various melee weapons. I've found plenty of melee weapons but zero guns.Now I've been killed by a few of these, and I've even seen people running around with them, but I have not seen any spawn as loot. I absolutely could just be unlucky, granted this is DayZ and nobody is lucky. I understand and embrace this theory but seriously after palying 50 hours and on empty servers, full servers, fresh servers, and bare bone servers no guns?I've found Fnx pistols and m4s like they're candy but no residential guns. They're supposed to be more common if I'm not mistaken, again though I could just unlucky.Something feels off about it though. Are there any specific buildings or areas to check for them? Beyond this I love the game and can't wait until the beta and full release.It's as unforgiving as I wanted it to be and everyone hates each other as much I wanted as well.Happy Hunting! This exactly, as for where to locate said guns such as the mosin my top notch luck has been in broken down cars never fails in high residence areas such as the tenament section above cherno. IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted January 4, 2014 Well AFAIK the shotgun(s) was in the very first day, but wasn't working right so they took them out. Which is why we still see shotgun ammo around. Of all the 'confirmed' guns for the game, many of the ones that have a model already are not in (AK74, SKS, 10/22, 'hunting rifle', Mauser rifle, ect) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
