Morgasm (DayZ) 10 Posted January 3, 2014 Reasons why I like the idea of first person only: - No 3rd person "peeking" over obstacles- Forces players to be more cautious- More paranoia, takes players out of their "comfort zone"- Realism (Kinda self-explanatory)- With a lack of awareness, people may tend to want a buddy to play with more often (e.g. spotter for sniping) Cons - Cannot look over shoulder without your view being obstructed by clothes/backpack- Cannot see on top of high shelves where loot might be hiding- I want to see my character occasionally, what he/she looks like (inventory?) Those are what I came up off the top of my head. I'm a player who prefers realism over anything else. What are your thoughts? Do you think first-person only might become more common?
