Where do you find M4 Suppressors? And how much do they help with not being heard

You sure they don't work? When I met up with some TMW guys one of their bodyguards had a suppressed M4 and all I heard were the bullet impacts.

Nope, they do not work. I have one on my M4 and it makes no difference when firing the weapon.

Have you had another person check whilst stood near you?

 

I was stood right next to this guy as he shot 2 zeds and heard absolutely no gun fire at all. Might be a difference in sound file usage depending on whether you're the one using it or not...or maybe our server just glitched

Me and my friends haven't heard any difference at all with the suppressor on/off.

No They do not work, 

 

Your gun shoots like a normal gun. I've tested this throughouly

I have, me and two of my buddies all had them on our M4's and we all tested them. Although I know there are a lot of issue with sounds lately. I had a buddy fire a Mosin while I was standing not even 10 feet from him and I didn't hear him fire a shot, I just saw the zombie we were both aiming at drop. I was like "did you shoot him?". He said "yea, didn't you hear my fire?", "nope, didn't hear a thing."

It wasn't because they were damaged, their effects haven't been implemented yet, they are currently only a cosmetic modification.

The reason you didn't hear the gun shots is because right now the game is incredibly inconsistent when it comes to hearing gunshots fired from other players. Half the time you just don't hear anything.

I have a pristine suppressor so yeah still sound like a normal, Is it just me or like the gun addons spawn  more in tents found some pristine bipod, handle, suppressor, and scope near the tent to the right of AirField or maybe me and my buddies just got lucky.
