Possibility of other maps?

Are we ever gonna see the other arma 2 maps in play, i personally would love to see that. or if Dayz had a map all of its own(although i understand how ridiculously difficult that is being a level designer).

If he does, we will end up with problems of were do we spawn you? and do we save you on on map or both? do you have a separate character for each map? etc

Not to mention the fact that there might be a break in the lore (if there is such a thing for this game yet).

That said, i would like to see a change in the map, perhaps a larger one? Specific to dayz? would be nice to have a "new" map that no one knows so that you can properly explore it.

I read in an interview that DayZ works on all the maps.

It's a possibility but atm there are more pressing issues.

Personally, I'd like to see an expanded Chern map, going farther west & north. Maybe a very, very large city to the NE on the coast, more villages/towns to the west.

There better be more maps coming. There is only so long playing the same map is fun for. There are more pressing issues with this game right now but more maps do need to happen.
