Question about Hives.

Recommended Posts

I am terribly sorry if this topic has been created before, but apparently my computer has some issues with the search button.

I played on a server and logged out somewhere in the woods north of Kamyshovo with a backpack and some food. I logged in on another server 5 minutes after and found that I was a newspawn on the shores of Komarovo. Both servers had both camera-modes active, mind you, and seemed pretty much identical.

I do realize that the servers must have been from different hives. Every next server always put me on the shores of Komarovo again and I'm unable to find the previous server because I simply did not remember the name and nothing seems to stand out in my server history as well. Now, my question is, how can I tell which Hive a server is part of so I'd know which character I'm using?

I'm having the same issue. I would suggest you select a group of servers with the same tag (like MGS... or whatever the host is) and stick to their servers. I imagine they're all on the same hive. It's very hard to identify which server you joined unless you take a note of it beforehand, and the history doesn't carry them in order, so pretty much impossible there, too.

Damn. The issue is that I find the nighttimes right now hideously dark so I alternate servers until I find a day one. Most often though, servers from a single tag or hive tend to be set on the same time...
