    Betrayal stories, please!

Indeed. I can respect a dose of Star Wars in my everyday life though so all's good.

    Betrayal stories, please!

Let's share betrayal stories here! Have you ever had someone shoot you in the back after helping them? Or were you the scumbag who used the other person's good nature, then killed in cold blood? Let's see your stories. Here's mine to start off: Had a good experience the other day. Was alone, scavenging the NWAF when I saw another similarly geared chap round a corner. Got the tactically better angle on him, he couldn't see me, but I saw him. Told him to unequip his weapon and lie down. He didn't. He kept running around and eventually saw me, kept running for me with his M4 out. Dropped him in a couple of moments because I had the advantage. While riddling him with bullets, I thought I heard him say something into his mic. After I dropped him, I noticed he wasn't dead, but just knocked out. He said "I wouldn't have shot you, man, I don't kill on sight". I sat in silence for a good moment, then my humanity got the better of me. Being in the Trusted Medics as well, I decided to talk to him, cuff him and get him back healthy. Managed to bandage, heal him up, we had a good chat, seemed like a genuinely nice guy, he ate and drank and we parted ways. I watched him go, still a bit cautious he might turn on me. 3mins after losing sight of him (he never looked back at me, mind you), I moved on. 60 more seconds passed and I was dropped from an impressive distance by the same fella. I knew it was him because there were 4 of us in the server and the other 2 were my buddies. If I wasn't a part of the Trusted Medics, I would start KoSing by now, but this little moment added some clarity to me - if a situation requires me to drop someone, I will not let my humanity get the better of me and heal my adversary afterwards. Loot and leave.

    Question about Hives.

Damn. The issue is that I find the nighttimes right now hideously dark so I alternate servers until I find a day one. Most often though, servers from a single tag or hive tend to be set on the same time...

    Question about Hives.

I am terribly sorry if this topic has been created before, but apparently my computer has some issues with the search button. I played on a server and logged out somewhere in the woods north of Kamyshovo with a backpack and some food. I logged in on another server 5 minutes after and found that I was a newspawn on the shores of Komarovo. Both servers had both camera-modes active, mind you, and seemed pretty much identical. I do realize that the servers must have been from different hives. Every next server always put me on the shores of Komarovo again and I'm unable to find the previous server because I simply did not remember the name and nothing seems to stand out in my server history as well. Now, my question is, how can I tell which Hive a server is part of so I'd know which character I'm using?
  5. Adding my 2 cents to the topic - I have no objection against KoS or kill-on-detection, OR just hiding from potential encounters, but what DOES piss me off is the behaviour in the following flashback: 5 minutes out from spawn, maybe even less, I had literally nothing, but a flashlight and a beanie. Got dropped by M4 fire and while being down, heard 2-3 pre-pubescent voices calling me a "little bitch" and "ez kill". These kinds of kids should be disciplined (preferably in real life, but we all know these spoiled brats won't have anything coming by their mommy and daddy who think their little boy is an angel) but at the very least, some in-game punishment should be done against such mentally retarded primitive behavior. I respect bandit roleplaying, KOS-ing and everything, but if a little brat goes out of his way to kill a newspawn and spew profanity while he's at it, makes me think some sort of in-game report-punishment system should be implemented. Otherwise, loving the experience and have had pretty memorable encounters with both friendlies and bandits.
