Massive amounts of mouse lag

Hey guys! 

 

I'm playing on a laptop at 1600x900 resolution, and FPS isn't a problem. However, what is a problem is the mouse lag. I'm using an external wired mouse that works perfectly in Windows and other games, but in DayZ, all my movements seem behind by a full second. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Go to dayz.cfg in documents there will be a line named mouse smoothing put its value from 1 or whatever it is to 0 then save the file !

Not quite what you describe but the mouse in DayZ (and Amra) tends to be pretty bad. I have tried fiddling with a few settings but I can't quite get it feeling as natural as in most other FPS games.
