Backpack stash

Recommended Posts

Originally idea belongs to player Kaktus36

I'll try to keep it short :

You fill your current backpack with whatever you want -> right click on it from gear menu -> select "create stash" option

After these manipulations your backpack is removed from your inventory and placed on the ground, but not just dropped - it won't disappear. You can both access it and pick it up (if backpack slot in your inventory is free)

Pretty much like pitching tents.

Idea inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R videogame.

Thank you for your time, discuss.

P.S

Used the search, nothing found.

You'd only need a couple of ALICE packs to substitute one tent

Tents are rare, while you can find backpacks in every supermarket/residential building

Not a fan of it

1 tent =

10 weapons OR tools

50 consumables

5(?) backpacks with stuff in them.

NO SLOTS COUNTED (engine = 1 slot)

1 ALICE pack = 20 slots.

SLOTS COUNTED (engine = 6 slots)

Not a fan of math?

On topic: Not sure about despawning them. It would be nice to know first, how much stashes would load server.
