Blood Types

Hello! I have been playing the DayZ Standalone and I need to share something I am not fond of. I love the DayZ Standalone as it is my favorite game, but I do not like the idea of different blood types. It is very frustrating to find blood now, and it can be quite annoying. A couple times I spawned as blood type 0- and I could never find any blood more me, as I was only attacked multiple times for it.  I think if anything, there should only be 2 blood types, or just none at all. You don't find blood anymore, you find blood bags and fill it with the type you want. Type O is one of the most popular types. I only see O or A in game. And don't worry you will die and then it will change so no problems. :thumbsup:

Until the medical system gets fleshed out, there is no need for blood bags really. Currently Saline bags do a much better job without the drawbacks of blood bags. Its nice we can test the blood typing and such, but I wouldn't worry about it right now.

They're implemented so you can take your own blood and fill the bag.  Then regen your own blood with food/drink and carry on knowinng if you get seriously injured you have a reserve of your own blood to pad your health.

 

Sure you can take blood from other players but are they infected?  Are they sick?  Are they the same blood type?  Who cares.  Store your own up and keep it handy.
