I cant get my game to reset the resolution

Recommended Posts

Im getting extrememly annoyed now as I have spent the last 24 hours trying to sort this out.

When I tried the game first off it was fine, I played for a bit and then changed some of the settings. I changed the resolution so it ran better and for a bit it seemed to be fine. All of a sudden it then gave me the message on my screen saying "Out of range" which I believe is because the res on the game cant be supported on my monitor.

Off I went to try and find a solution and Ive tried about three now, nothing has worked. I dont know what else to do as I got this game so I can play alongside my partner and his mate but right now is looking like a waste of money!

Can someone please help me sort this out?? Ive tried completely uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it with the mistaken idea that it would reset to its automatic settings... nope that hasnt worked either and Im all out of ideas!

DayZ Mod or DayZ SA ?

If the later and you are using XP then you are out of luck, it may run but is not supported.

If you are talking about the Mod (ArmA2/CO) there should be a solution out there somewhere.
