vestly 1 Posted January 1, 2014 So , not sure , if this happens because of lags or what ,I have pretty good internet , 5mb/s and I have allways good fps , but sometimes , I cant equip weapon , or player stop moving etc.Today , I was at NWAF , where i saw a few guys. They didnt see me , so I wanted to take my M4 out , but of course , it didnt work. I was waiting for about 5 minutes clicking every 10-20 seconds and still M4 was bugged or something , so I couldnt use my weapon. Of course , after 10 minutes , they noticed me and started to shoot at me and I coudnt defend myself , thanks to that bug , so I alt+f4 . It spawned me at beach. Ok , so i will start over again , nothing special . I noticed a guy with a gun , who was bleeding. I finished him off and took his gun. I went to Berezino , but I noticed a few guys looting a dead body. I didnt want to shoot them , so I came to them and they werent moving. I started bleeding and my shirt started to be damaged . So I bandaged myself and again I was bleeding , few secs later i was dead. So , wtf ? My internet is good for these kind of games, so I dont get it. DMHH 0 Posted January 1, 2014 seems like massive de-sync to me.from time to time it happens to me, seems like a server-side (or connection me<>server)-issue. it kept me warping around while i was running, not pulling weapons or with 1min-delay, couldn't use any item from inventorychanging server helped in my case :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dusty_nuttles 130 Posted January 1, 2014 Before I did the optimization on the wiki I was getting super low frames, didn't have fraps installed at that time so I can't give you a number. But it felt like 5-7fps, real low. So at that time when we were looting around he would say my character was invisible. I wasn't even moving and he couldn't see me. Zogvarn 118 Posted January 1, 2014 Desynch issue here. I've run into it on a couple of servers. I keep a list of 8 servers I generally play on that do not suffer from this issue and never had it affect me again. Oh and never combat log man.
