i get 30 fps evrywhere and in towns i get 20 i have a r9 280x and a amd 8350

Tweak vid settings. Like turn AA off, turn Vsync off, HDR to very low. Look up the video on how to get better FPS.

That or you just have a shit PC.

turn your settings down maybe? I get 30fps in cherno with a gtx770, its just not optimized yet.

Set dayz core affinity to, 2. If you've more than 2.

Just bought my 280x 2 days ago and it's awesome so far.  I did have a xfx 5770 HD so it's a major upgrade.  Turn down shadows/clouds, HDR very low, ambient occlusion off, things like that.  I have an i5 3570  CPU and I'm getting at least 30 fps in towns and 70-130 fps everywhere else.  Just takes a bit of tweaking to find a sweetspot for your system.  And as posted above, it's not optimized fully yet.
