Going back in time

Recommended Posts

I know this is Alpha, so I kind of expected this to happen, but I want to know whats going on anyway.

When playing some of the new HOTFIXES, I noticed that the debug monitor will sometimes dissappear. After this happen, some wierd things start happening.

1. Zombies will NEVER aggro on me (I can still kill and loot them though).

2. I do not get hungrier or thirstier.

3. After a random amount of time I will return to the same spot where I lost the debug monitor, and get back the items I had at that time. It's almost like a time machine.

Note that I can still be seen by other players and I can still kill them.

Are anyone else having this problem (possibly everyone?) and is there a way to avoid this?

Me and several others had a similar but not identical problem to this. We did not warp back to the location that we lost the debug monitor because we never had one in the first place.

If you log into a server while running a different client version everything that you described happens plus you lose all sound unless given a blood transfusion. You mention losing the debug monitor and experiencing these issues mid game play, which is weird, but I will ask anyway. Are you absolutely sure that you are only accessing servers that you have the correct DayZ client for? The correct beta build for?

Last time this happened I was running DayZ 1.7.1.5 on Beta Patch 93965. I remember playing on the UK server hosted by Kelly's Heroes. That's about all I remember (which is wierd as it was under 1 hour ago :P)
