Need some help :D

Hey guys !

 

I just got dayz standalone and i have about 43 hours in it. I mostly played M4 but i recently discovered a long range scope pristine, and i switched to a mosin. All good, the problem is that I can`t see the vertical line of the scope. I only see the horizontal one. I gave it to one of my friends in game and he could see just fine. What can i do to make it work? We need a sniper in the team and the only one who like to be a sniper is me. Is it a bug? Do i need to reinstall?

Just use a marker with your monitor to add the vertical line.

Well, yes, it seems to be a bug and I've never heard of it, too. If you have a fast internetconnection, try to reinstall.

Its most likely a bug, try 

 

Relog in/out the server

Drop it/ pick back up

Throw it at a rock.

 

But if I was you I wouldn't bother trying to reinstall.

 

use steam to verify the game cache, that way yo know if the game is badly downloaded.

Probably playing in the wrong resolution? Check all the video settings and make sure it's correct aspect ratio etc etc etc
