Goodwin- 9 Posted December 31, 2013 Basically make it so that when you're wearing sunglasses, the effects of the sun are significantly reduced. Thoughts?
Popa611 5 Posted December 31, 2013 This has already been discussed. Anyway, it is a good idea I think.
creature 1189 Posted December 31, 2013 Agreed. My Rocket's aviators are useless otherwise.
Khad (DayZ) 293 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) This idea was allready discussed, but yesterday I got an additional idea for the improvement of the sunglasses: If your glasses are damaged, your screen will be 'broken' like if you watch through a badly damaged ACOG. If you've ever played Metro, you know what I mean ;) Edited December 31, 2013 by Khad

If you've ever played Metro, you know what I mean ;)They should crack at badly damaged, ruined should be missing a lens aswell.Worn/ should just be dirty/ dusty and you can clean lens with rag/ on shirt as I do with my aviators.Damaged could have scratches?I hope they give the screen a slight tinted view aswell making it harder to see in the dark. But the advantage would be that the sun basically appears with next to no blinding flares. The real advantage would be removing the chance of being caught out by smart ambushers hiding in the sun as they shoot. The same stuff could be done with gas masks, and motorbike helmets. It would add a great deal to first person servers. PracticalTactical 164 Posted December 31, 2013 This idea is very good. Different sunglasses could reduce glare in different ways. Maybe have some rose tinted glasses or something.

These lenses are popular with skiers, hunters, boaters and pilots."Gray and green lenses are considered neutral because they maintain true colors. well polarized glasses would be fine for me for the start ;)

Vision is so important that without glasses in certain conditions you might not be able to see that sniper sitting in the treeline. But, put on the appropriate type of glasses and increase your survivability.
