Does anyone have a range refrence chart?

Recommended Posts

I would go through Gews content and track his posting he tends to run lots of ballistic measurements aswell as ranging and damage discussions.  Simply click on his profile and hit the find content tab, look through any discussions related to range, damage or other related material he has posted on.  Here is one of his recent threads http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/159745-anyone-wanna-verify-this/  hope this helps.

Regards,

Steak.

Not sure if you need distances for sniping, but if you do, heres how i do it:

1. Know exactly where you are sniping from using any map (the exact coordinates).
2. Know exactly where your target is, or is going to be using any map.
3. Use a map that has distance markings on it like this one for example.

4. If your target area is in a vertical or horizontal line from you, just use the 100m markers to figure out the distance.

If not, use the good old Pythagorean theorem to calculate the exact distance.
5. Zero and aim accordingly, and you will hit.
