headitems affecting screen

So once i was running from NWAF to Komarovo and sun was shining very bright in my face. It wasn't really comfortable so i thought why sunglasses doesn't affect screen? why it's not darker? I had aviators, they are bigger then my eyes x2. So I decided to post this idea on forums maybe others will like it?
p.s. gas mask should affect aswell
p.p.s. i was lucky and aftrer logoff i got camera view a bit back so it was like inside head before eyes, and i was looking from inside of gasmask (attention on background) (:

I liked the idea but have in mind they have to prioritize the main things to do.

How would this affect third person? It'd be nice if it restricted it there as well but it'd also be awkward the way I'm seeing it. O_o

 

 

 

I like the way it was done in Misery for STALKER: Call of Pripyat, but that's a first person only game.

If this happens do I get to hear my breathing inside of a gas mask too?

True, that's much things to do in game, and they are more important, just would be cool if they get the idea and realize it later ;)
