Sickness from being shot

Recommended Posts

So I got shot up at Bolota airfield 10 minutes ago, bandaged up and took some vitamins, and it told me I'm sick. I'm guessing this means I have infected wounds from being shot. It was orange at first, took some painkillers and it was green, took some charcoal tablets it went back to orange, took painkillers and vitamins and it went back and stayed at green. Do I just need to keep my health up for it to go away from the green phase?

You probably got infected somehow (unclean bandages or just the open wound). There's Alcohol in game to desinfect.

Now you need antibiotics (there are pills and injections)

This.  If you used bandages from torn up clothing, there is a chance for infection if you don't first sterilize them.
