Infected Diet

I am assuming that the Infected are cannibalistic, I searched the forums for some sort of a confirmation to this, but failed to find one. So do they run after survirors to kill and eat them, or just maul survivors to death just because they are extremely violent due to the virus??

Once you are dead/knocked out they do munch on you but atm the animation is borked afaik. I hope that answers your question.

Per patch notes it's fixed, but I don't believe this is the case.  Yesterday from far away I watched a player killed by zed and they did not lean down and feast upon that player.
